XBOX LIVE Question

ok i have the softmod on my xbox with bigger HD,

i was wondering if i had the original disc and live in, (and booted from disc) would it work

I dont think so, i am pretty sure you need to run a mod chip with a swtich so you can turn it off. You also have to have your HD locked in order to run the MS Dash

theres a new softmod that can be turned off via the savegame so you can run live, then load up the exploit savegame again to turn the softmod back on.

but ya, with the softmod, live wont work.

and if i go to the mod chip will i be able to still use all of my games i already have on my HD

why use xbox live? use kai or xbox connect both work great and there are many users online at all times. the only downside to using these progs is you can only play system link games not xbox live. but there is no charge at all for them.
