Insurance Question, HELP!

Ok, if my insurance was to cover the cost it needs front end work, and i have a body kit sitting at home just needed to paint/installed. Is it okay to give the shop my kit and ask them to put it on instead of ordering the stock bumper?

plus asking my shop to do the sides and rear as well, but out of my own pocket?

ask the shop, should be ok. just ask for cash from the insurance company and you will get money (less coast of labour)

Anything's fair game if you pay for it. It is the best time to do it because all the parts will be painted with the same batch of paint, and you'll save a bit of money.

Ya best to talk to the shop. I'm sure they will cut you a deal since they are already getting paid by the insurance company.

I did something similar with my rear bumper.

i'm just wondering because i have a pair of headlights and a bumper sitting at home, basically was wondering if i can bring in an aftermarket part to replace with a stock part that the shop may order.
