    Default Honda Element

I saw one of these today for the first time in person on my way to the gym. EEEEWWW. They look ALOT better on TV in the commercials. Good God is that thing ugly. Have any of you seen them yet? What do you guys think?

Well to be honest with you, I think they look really cool.....on TV at least......very outdoorsy kinda vehicle......its different......but doesn't seem like its a vehicle that would really fit Calgary's market.....I could see it being a hit in the U.S though.....

Yeah I thought they were really cool, too. That is, untill I saw the one today in person for the first time.

I think they're a great concept, but ever since I first saw them, I didn't like their looks. The look just doesn't seem to say "Honda", it says something like "Land Rover", or "Jeep", it doesn't look like a Honda product.

    My 2 cents.

It fulfils it's purpose well. It's well built. And it does have a lot of fans. I personally like it.

Its pretty fricken ugly but it was built so a select group of people and it has tons of advantages for those people. So thumbs up 2 honda for having the balls to build it.

i sat in one up at contemporary for a while, they have some really good ideas on the go. the seats are made of this waterproof material and they pop out really easy. the dash is pretty cool, but they call it a sport activity vehicle and you get passenger car tires and the ground clearance is kinda shitty and the fuel tank isnt reinforced in any way. good for dirt roads but shitty for off road. give them a couple years to work on it and it will hopefully get better. good price at 24000 tho.

Neither the CRV or the Element were designed to be fast, so who cares about that?

the honda name doesnt matter that much, i know tons of ppl that would buy domestic over import, its the same idea as the aztec, i personally dont see much success in this apparenly very small niche...on a lighter note of the same argument, the nissan xterra never made huge sales either

Every bit as functional as the Aztec, but not nearly as nasty to look at.
Drag racing is for fast cars. Solo 2 is for fast drivers.
