    I find it hard to believe that ebay wouldn't have shut them down already if it was a scam though. They are VERY good about verifying sellers to make sure they are legitimate.

    All the buyers have no feedback and have signed up within the past 30 days, bidding only on auctions from the police.

    Thats true of some of them, but definetly not all of them. How does that make it a scam?

    Seller uses other accounts to bid up the price.
    Of course, not ALL of them are going to be the scammers, there have to be some sucker(s) who will ultimately pay the inflated price, right?

    Bidding up the price is supposedly against the rules isn't it?
