    Default About a Multinova Ticket

    Hey guys

I know these might be a dumb question but ..... Do any of you guys know whether you can plead guilty to a multinova ticket? LIke i am wondering wehther they can reduce the amount of money you have to pay if you plead guilty to a multinova. If i can, can somebody give me a rundown of what to can do? If i can i know i have to say that i am guilty and that i am sorry for it but what else?

Thanks for helping me out guys!

Paying it in full would already be pleading guilty. I've never heard of anyone getting their multinova ticket reduced. You should consider yourself lucky that you didn't take any demerits from the ticket. If you really want to try though, I'm sure you could talk to the CP at the justice of the peace counter...

PS: Watch for the multinova cars/minivans/trucks on the side of the road.

Multinova and Photoradar are the same thing. There aren't any demerits associated because they can't prove who the driver was - only the registered owner.

you can have it reduced to have the price go downtown rocky mountain plaza

the address is on the ticket. say you would like to speak to a law agent

wait an hour tell him you were going down a hill wasnt paying attention usually always respect limit and he'll reduce it to half that amount

and then you just pay it there

I've never heard of anyone getting a photoradar ticket reduced, I'd just pay it and be happy i won't get any demerits. Besides they aren't even that much are they? Last one I had was less than $100.

    Way to go smart guy

The price depends on how fast your going. I belive its 80$ once your 10km over then its plus 2$ for ever KM over that. I got caught doing 62 in a 50 zone ( i swear they round it up) and the ticket was 84$. At least thats how it got explained to me. My idiot friend got a 240$ ticket cuz he was being fricken stupid and doing like 100 ish in a 50 zone maybe 120 dotn want to calculate

Go to the Justice of the Peace. I had a photoradar ticket reduced there. I told him that I was being really stupid and if there was anything that he could do. I was doing 84 in a 40 zone, yes stupid, and the JP dropped it to 62 in 40 so the ticket went from $300 to $140. That made my day and needless to say I slowed down. lol

Yes, they are generally in residential areas where the residents have requested a lower speed limit.

If you are going more than double the speed limit, don't you automatically get your license suspended? If you are going that fast in a residential area, you are pretty fucking stupid and should lose your license.

Yup. You never know until you try. If the CP is in a good mood, you'll probably get it reduced.

Last November I got a ticket for failing to stop for a red light. I talked to the Crown and had it reduced to Failing to stop for a yellow light. Fine went from $287 to $115

By talking to the JP and explaining your situation, are you not proving that you were the driver? Wouldn't that mean that they could nail you with the demerits at that point? I always counted myself lucky for not getting any demerits, so I just sucked it up and paid it. From the sounds of it, that's not the case, but has anyone that's argued one of these tickets been stuck with insurance problems?

No insurance problems... no demerits. Its still considered a photoradar and does not go against your insurance as they can't say that it was you even if you admit guilt. You insurance company is not going to know that the JP heard you admit that you are guilty. I didn't get hit with demerits but then I told him that I was in school too. Might have helped.

I have gotten photo tickets reduced. Just go to the court house as scheduled, act respectful and ask for some leniency.

Pretty much any ticket can be reduced if you go in with the attitude of you've already lost, the best you can do is beg for forgiveness.
