I am currently taking the maintenance part of the aviation program at sait and from what I have heard from friends in industry and guys at school, it is an enjoyable course with a large potential for work. if you like doing work with aluminum, carbonfirbre, fibre glass, etc. then it's worth the training
I'm taking a basic mechanics class for pilots at sait this semester and its sweet. Last year it was at the main campus but this year its in their new facility at the airport and it's sooo nice.
Theres a lot of work for AST's in Calgary. There's tons of work in the helicopter field for mechanics who want to work out of town, watch for the forest fires to start burning

A few questions if anyone has any answers that would be cool.

2.How much are tools to work in this field.
3.And does any of you have anything bad to say about tking this course.
Thx for your time.
