One thing I noticed this year is our ability to battle back. Keenan refuses to let the guys give up. It seemed like last year, if the Flames were down...they'd get frustrated, and give up...and I'd turn the TV off. There's been quite a few games this year where we've got back in it...but either take a dumb penalty or just plain bad luck.
I think the Keenan system is working. Kipper is a bit rusty, sure, but he's still making those big saves. Tanguay looks to be more involved in the play. Iggy is trying hard, but nothing is panning out for him. There were some big changes over the summer...6 new guys, including a new head coach. Give it time guys!
