No seatbelt use, poor road conditions to blame for one death and three injuries in MVA near Coronation
One young man died and three others were seriously injured when the vehicle they were in rolled over on Highway 599, near Coronation, AB. Police the severity of the injuries is likely due to the men not using seat belts.
The males, all between the ages of 15-20, were traveling in the evening hours when the accident happened. RCMP say poor road conditions may have been a contributing factor to the accident, although the exact cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
The RCMP are reminding Albertans to take caution when operating a motor vehicle in poor weather conditions and to always have your seatbelt securely fastened.
