Lots of great shots guys! Keep 'em coming
I ended up heading to Banff/Lake Louise over the long weekend and rented a canoe over at Lake Louise

It was really relaxing laying in the boat watching the clouds

Go4long: awesome long exposure night shot. I'll need to head out to Elbow Falls some time. Is that some weird green tint or is that really aurora borealis?
kvg: that Hypacrosaurus is crazy sharp. Is that the GF1 or the nikon?
Here's a pic of this little guy hanging out on a fence. TONS of dragonflies right now at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary.

Someday we may need to activate the halo structure off Deerfoot and destroy the North East.
the shot is facing kinda southwest, so I'm not thinking it would be the Borealis, but the green was in the sky, so I dunno.
It's also not that long of an exposure...it's just at 8000 ISO at F/4.0, to much longer and you start to get movement in the stars.

Sorry for the Zoo and Sunfest were taken on July 30-31 but didn't have time to go through them until tonight. Plus I considered it as a Heritage Long weekend
1st thing.. telephoto shots.. probably 80% of my shots with my Canon 70-300 4-5.6 IS were blurry, most good shots were around the 70-100 range, but 200-300 only a couple turned out decent. Does my lens need to be calibrated? some of my shots were taken at 400-600 shutter speed and still blurry..maybe I move alot too.
Lesson that I learned is to put ISO higher (800-1600) next time
Parents bought a 2007 A4, I wanted to try a car photoshoot
