The DuraTracs have been in use for a long time but I'll be lucky if they last another summer season. When I first got them I needed something suitable for the worst trunk roads and rig lease sites, but now I spent most of my time in the city/highway and very occasionally gravel/rough road. I have a set of Nokian winters so strictly summer and shoulder season usage is needed.
So I'm weighing my options while being aware of trying to save costs. The Kuhmo CRUGEN HT51 looks like a really good option, from both a performance and cost POV. Open to other suggestions here.
One concern I have, probably an unwarranted concern if I'm being honest, is how robust a highway all season tires isn't on anything not pavement. Having bomber tires to something else raising questions internally.
