Launching August 18th!!!! Super excited!!! This sim is one of the main reasons I got a new computer. Was expecting a later in the year release. I’m preordering the premium version.
Can’t wait!!!

If it's going to be available on Game Pass at launch, I'd probably sign up for that since you get other games as well. Probably only standard edition will be available.

That is reallllllyyy gonna suck on a console. PC or bust!
...
Stoked for this.
I've been learning to fly in VTOL VR, and it's an incredible experience. I'm less interested in playing 'games' in VR, and more excited about building real skills.
ACC in VR absolutely blew my mind - looking into corners, shoulder checking, looking at the cluster, all from the perspective of a GT3 cup car. Even H3VR was impressive, I legitimately didn't know how to load and shoot some of the weapons. Want to biology and medicine? You can dissect a human from the comfort of your living room. You can even see the biological interactions at a cellular level to further understand the dynamics in real time.
I'm confident VR is revolutionizing the pursuit of education.

The X5 i bought earlier this year really is FULLY LOADED though not a single option missing including infrared night driving
Coming soon to Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta). Apparently Game Pass for PC exists. I'd want to play it on the new monitor. I only have the cheap Lenovo VR headset. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Game Pass is cross platform. It unlocks all the Game Pass games on Xbox and Windows.

The ultimate version does. There is a lower version. Looks like if you have game pass it will include the beta version of flight simulator, not sure if this is a beta release?? Edit reread the previous post, the monitor distracted me. Haha
I think it was 2k games is increasing their price by $10usd on games. Going to be $100 for the regular version of games soon.
yea that's what I meant. forgot to type ultimate at the start there.
Since I'm XBL gold, I topped up to 3 years of gold, and got ultimate for $1 for 3 years haha. Think that deal is still active.

Has VR support confirmed at all? How does one look at all the gears with headset on tho? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yea, too bad its not there for launch. It might be 1-2 years before implementation. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Gamepass includes the standard edition of the new flight sim. Would be a cheaper way to jump in while waiting for remaining bugs to be worked out and new features added. Then pay for the Premium Edition. I also anticipated that it was going to be subscription based because of the streamed in scenery but it appears they didn’t go that route.
VR will be a great addition. All in due time tho.

do I even dare look at what the minimum requirements are to run it?
Have a feeling I could buy a hang glider cheaper
Min specs aren't that bad actually. Many were expecting much higher. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
