Volume dealers are more tempted to sell at invoice. In my experience anyway.

Cam Clark has a bunch of Lariats coming in...
Before COVID I was doing it all the time to order Super Duty's. During COVID I switched it up to dumping all of the trucks for a loss. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
This is why it just boils my blood that my personal truck gives me so much grief yet the 4 F150 Eco's and the 20 Super Duty's that I bought for work were absolutely bullet proof even though they were abused and mistreated lol
I know I'm a bit late to reply but Advantage was pretty great dealing with me and getting me what I want at a much better price than the other places around the city
Much better price? That’s interesting..This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Did you cross shop the big boys? (Cam Clark Airdrie and Sherwood Ford??)

They’re part of the wood group... and woodridge has close to... well, all the F150s haha... not too surprising they can move stock with access to that lotThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
They have a grand total of 12 F150's at Woodridge? Advantage has a lot, but 75% of them are Raptors. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Employee pricing isn’t good this year. Supply isn’t strong because of the plant shutdowns. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
You can always tell by the cash delivery credit from ford. It’s only like 6-7k from XLTs right now. This is low.

got a reply back from finance on pricing and it actually seems reasonable considering how expensive everything is:
5 yr /100k bumper to bumper $2,175 + GST
6 yr / 120k bumper to bumper $3,250 + GST
Guess I will be biting the bullet on the extra 2 year warranty so that I can hang on to this thing for a bit longer and not have to pay an arm and a leg for repairs once my 60k bumper to bumper is up next spring.
Just know they make a lot of profit on those averaging out for many customers.
That being said, if it makes you sleep better at night might be worth it for you.

The price of warranties is HIGHLY negotiable. They also can be purchased from other dealerships. Shop around.

Everyone is short inventory because of factory shutdowns.
I guess if I don't find the one I want I'll wait until later and buy a. 2021 model year. But I feel like I've been waiting for years already.

Gotta wonder if something's going on with that.
what is it usually @Darkane ? Truck I'm looking at is $7034 off for "employee pricing" and $6000 for delivery credit for $13,034 off before any negotiations. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Hah, I'm so impatient to buy, but also have four dealerships in Alberta unable to find exactly what I'm looking for. There is a top contender though. Will be talking to the salesbro tomorrow more. maybe he can talk me into it. Wonder if it being the 31st will help, or not this year so much because of the low inventory. Guess I'll see. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

It’s not uncommon to see 9-11k off, and then negotiate all of the discount off of MSRP —> invoice. Or simply “X-plan”.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
When I purchased I had 9k off delivery cash, and $2250 Three months Payment credit. Including that 11,250, I also got within spitting distance to invoice pricing and a free Bedliner spray. I did roughly $16,800 off on a 58k MSRP XLT 302A.
That’s the reference. In fact, if Covid didn’t hamper production, 2020 trucks would have been 3-5K cheaper right now.
