Alright,
So I found this car at a local mechanic shop in a small BC town where is has been sitting since 2012! It only has 35000 miles! I purchased it for next to nothing as the mechanic wanted to see the car go to a good home and free up a spot for customer parking.
Mods the car has:
-Cosworth long block (with a melted piston)
-JWT 700 turbo kit
-HKS Fcon with Nismo 480cc injectors
-Coil overs, looks to be Bilstein
-Sway bars, Looks to be Stillen
-AP Racing brakes, 6 piston front, 4 piston rear
-Staggered 19 3 piece rims.
-Stillen exhaust
What I know it is was brought into Canada some time prior to 2008. In 2008 the car went to a shop in Calgary and had the Cosworth engine, HKS Fcon (and possibly the injectors), was tuned and made 440whp (disappointing for the mod list, but expected with small injectors and stock fuel lines). Between 2008 and 2012 the engine suffered catastrophic damage (melted a piston) and ended up in Golden BC sitting in a lot for 10 years until I bought it.
Part of the deal of the sale to me is the car came with the original engine. To my surprise the short block was fully built with eagle rods and arias pistons. After a quick rebuild and inspection, I have this block, the Cosworth heads (also rebuilt) and the JWT turbos ready to drop in once my other car is out of the garage.
During its time in the USA, I believe VRT built it as there is a company sticker on a carbon fiber engine cover. I would like to know the history of this car and hoping someone has seen it around.
