Might bring the Vic, have two track days up there this weekend. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I might be able to join, I'll know more as the week progresses.
*sigh. I miss racecity.
I really want to try this out at some point as I've never been but after having had my ass handed to me by an E63, while in my R8, I don't even want to bother anymore. lol
Race city was a dump, now it is a world class landfill. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I miss the dump.
A "dragy" makes the process of testing your cars performance much more convenient then driving to Edmonton to run at the track.
I like neat cars.
I still like going to the strip for an actual timeslip (even though Castrol has an app now and no longer prints slips lol)
Also, always nice to not risk your license doing runs on public roads with a dragy I assume. Unless I just don't know of any secret spots around Edmonton/Calgary where you can do that without risking a cop pulling you over.
I found a great spot north of the city that has worked well for me. Nobody around, out in the country, flat and almost no traffic. I'll head out, make a few solo hits and go home.
I like neat cars.
I've got a buddy going in his built f80 m3, looking for his first 9 second pass

Definitely an inconvenience traveling from YYC or anywhere else that's more than a hour drive.

I gotta get out there one of these days. I want to do a couple baseline runs with my Golf R. (word from peers is stock I should be in the ~12.9-13.0s range at Edmonton elevation) I'm feeling the urge to mod... don't know how much longer I can hold out. lol

Dang, Firebird is still in Red Deer and I'm not out of class until 4pm. Would like to see what the POS would do in the 1/4 before slapping a converter and turbo on.
