    Default Canon cam ques......

Would it be safe to use an aftermarket AC adapter and rechargeable batteries/recharger for a Canon digicam?? I imagine the Canon products are higher-priced, but I wonder if aftermarket products comparable

I have a JVC miniDV camcorder, and I bought an "aftermarket" battery and charger for it.
They last twice as long, and charge twice as fast as the regular ones, I highly recommend them.

Just if you're curious, the brand I use is "Optex", bought from Future Shop.
