If you're interested, I have a job for you. PM me for details.
I'm looking for a FT position for the summer... I have a 4 month summer (SAIT student) and am well versed in computers (also taking a computer course to formalize) any suggestions anyone?
EDIT: I'm not really very well suited for "hard labour" either otherwise I would work in a warehouse (I can do hard work... but not the killer stuff) Also I love working with cars and my computer course also covers electronics, so I'm good with wiring, electronics, etc...

yea anyone know a job that pays n pays great???
work the city. Its pretty good money, I think you start at like 15 bucks n hr, and you only work like 4 days a week. A friend of mine did this and was in road cleanup or something. Sounded like they spent more time sleeping and playing playstation than actually working
I'd rather try something a little more suited to my skills... Thanks for the suggestion thoughtaking a computer course

Get into a trade!
I'm an electrician. Right now first year's are making $13.50/hour and up, and there is work coming out your ears.
I'm a 3rd year now, and well over $20/hour, and I only work summers inbetween classes.
It's not super-hard labour, much easier than warehouse work.

Apply to all the oil companies downtown. I got a job there, salary, $8,000 for the summer, and it was mega-slack. They can't or won't fire you for slacking, but they will not invite you back next year oh well! my job worked out to $12.53 an hour to surf the internet.Originally posted by IncredibleToad
