    Default A moderately close shave

I ask this with a unblemished record of staunch heterosexuality, but...

I want to have a shave, where it still leaves say 3-4 mm of stubble kinda on my face at all times. What kind of razor would I get etc.

When I shave with a straight razor it shaves right up to my face and leaves nothing.

Your shavin to hard on your skin , also try changing the blade , it might be giving you a bad rash , and could make your face look really messed up.

Sorry, by Leaves nothing I mean its a totally clean shave, which allot of people look as a good thing, but I want just a little bit of stubble, between 3-4mm

Just get a beard groomer kit and use the razor on it's lowest setting. Did that for years....

remember that shaving your face with a razor helps scrape the dead skin off though, i think. i dont know if thats an issue for you or not.

    5 Oclock shadow any one??

Try buying older electric shavers, cause I know my old phillips would leave to much stuble to even be called a shave for my likings. Since I got a new phillips, it leaves my skin smoth as a babys bum!

    peace

Yeah, most electric shavers trimmers should do the trick. I'd do that, but I get it after an hour anyways. :S

Face it Neil, you can't grow real facial hair haha. Get an electric trimmer/shaver and put it to second lowest setting (as the lowest setting is probably one that would give you a clean shave), and go nuts. We'll discuss it more at the library...

Hair clippers with no plastic guard is what I use to trim up my beard - leaves the hair about the length you're looking for

I ended up getting this, it was kinda an impulse buy, but it works very well, its adjustable as to the length you want it.

Thanks for all the imput btw.

I just shave completely and in almost less then a day, I get that stubble what you're talking about. I dont like any beard at all, even though sometimes when I get too lazy I leave the stubble. But I pretty much shave almost everyday if I am heading out.
