1997 subaru impreza!!!! check your pm's
2000 2.2L white cavalier 2 door 5spd, PW PL alarm air tilt cruise with about 130K on the engine. I'm the original owner and it's been well taken care of not a hickup in 6 years of driving year round including -40C Sask winters. Has brand new Michelin Harmony tires (great all seasons good for 130K) and passed the Alberta safety last fall.
Thinking about selling it to find a small truck since my fiance already has a reliable car. Only thing is I'm a stereo guy and so I have an aftermarket deck and power wires and doorpanels etc all installed, but if I'm selling it and you want it all stock it can easily be put back to original, just give me a weekend to do it.
Let me know, it's a great car and I think being on the cheap end of your budget you'd be hard pressed to find something in as good of shape and as well taken care of. And as a bonus there is 100sq^ft of sound deadener installed throughout the interior! Makes for a fairly quiet ride
Thanks Big Tom, I would definetly be interested in your car. If you wouldn't mind emailing me some pictures to [email protected] when you get a chance I would be really grateful. If its possible, I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of pictures of the interior showing the stereo system. As well if you could email me your asking price that would be great.Originally posted by Big Tom

Here are some pic's.
The rims aren't included, sold those recently so the car will come with the stock steel rims and I have hubcaps for them but I don't bother installing them.
The hood scoop, again it's up to you if you'd want to keep it. It's a custom job I did about 5years ago, built like a tank but isn't functional. I have the original stock hood in storage so it can be removed if need be.
The doorpannels are about 80% complete. I never did get the finish work done on them, needs a bit more body work to get things perfect. I wanted to get them upholstered but last winter installed them just to see how they fit and sounded. Sound amazing but I have to original stock pannels if it's not your taste.
And the sub box... a big retarded if I do say so myself heh but easily removed.
Besides that the car is bone stock, dad was a mechanic for GM and told me with the 2.2L motors just to leave them stock and enjoy, very reliable especially compared to the 2.4L

chu77 - How do you get 29MPG from 12L/100 kms?
Reference:
http://www.tdiclub.com/misc/conversions.html
12L/100kms is only 19.6MPG (US gallon) and 23.5MPG (Imperial gallon)
29MPG (US gallon) refers to 8.11L/100kms
29MPG (Imperial gallon) refers to 9.74L/100kms
How about an 85 Honda Prelude .. Im going to be replacing the master cylinder & driver side axle (boot on axle cracked due to age, master cylinder just wore out) otherwise this vehicle runs awesome, has been sitting the past year.
I figure my friend will sell it for $800... reason he's selling is he has a newer truck, reason I'm driving/fixing up is it's my old car and I'm using until I have time to replace the auto tensioner on my 92 lude.

Oh yea, I also met Doris..
