Well usually places wouldn't hire someone for one day a week but perhaps would let them go down to one day a week later on if they needed to. Then again places are getting desperate so who knows.
Restaurants are always looking for weekend workers.

Depending on your background too, but some healthcare jobs like psychiatric aides, porters, attendants etc have minimum requirement of atleast once a week. This is the kind of job I have, when September comes around, I will only work once a week.

what about retail stores like the Mexx, do they hire someone for just the weekends? that way i could meet lots of girls too

if you dont mind some hard work moving companys are always looking for guys, usually pays cash and one day a week is cool with them cause it gives a full time guy a day off.

Anything in the service industry. They would probably appreciate the help even if it is once a week.
in this market... you shouldnt have a problem.. but remember when things slow down (if they do) that you will most likely be the first to go

$30 for 30 min a morning @ 5:30am. 4 mornings a week.
Its fun as hell.
