    Default Compressors

Is this a decent compressor for running a sander, impact gun (occasionally) and a paint gun just for spraying small areas.

    http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...romSearch=true

Its the Campbell Hausfeld 2.5-hp, 8-gal Compressor. I just want it mainly for running a sander and spray gun to do small repairs.

Can't answer yes or no to your question. It's too general.

First of all, find the tools you want to use, then look at their requirements. They will list what pressure and flowrate they need to operate (psi and cfm).

Then look at the compressor and see if it can give what the tools want.

i think thats a bit of an exaggeration, were talking home use here remember. i have a half decient 2hp compressor. It flows around 8cfm at 90psi. operates all my air tools just fine.

we have a 20hp hydrovane compressor here at work and i don't notice a huge difference becides maybe having to give my home compressor a break to cool off every once and a while...

to the OP, that compressors specs are 4.5 scfm @ 40 psi; 3.7 scfm @ 90 psi, which suck

you want about double that cfm
    Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.
