home depot has some micro soldering irons, 50/60w for like 30$

Go to Active!! Better selection, Source and Home Depot don't have heat adjustable solder stations. I just checked the other day.
Definately to go active if you want any sort of quality in a soldering iron, plus you'll get a good brand that you're guaranteed to find replacement tips for. More likely to find a fine needle tip there too. More expensive but you get what you pay for.
Make sure its a DC heat element if you plan on soldering anything sensitive. Check out B&E electronics.
