Fitness N.W. Gym *MUST READ*

Ok guys im going to tell you and lay down whats going on with Fitness N.W. in Silver Springs, I have been going there for a couple years now, my buddies join me on occasion and buy a day pass so they can use the gym right? So what happened Monday was my buddy was in town because he travels from Houston to Calgary until he can get his house in Calgary, so my buddies and i went for a workout when we went inside the gym my buddy's asked if they can buy a day pass and all went good until they got there Russian manger out to force my buddies into buying a membership my buddies said no its cool they just wanted to buy a day pass so they can workout that day because they didn't want to sign up because my first buddy doesn't workout alot and other one wanted to settle down in Calgary when he got his house then think about it, then the Russian Manger she turns to me and calls me idiot for not explaining the policy they have about day passes and people from out of town cant use the day pass yet my buddy been using the day pass thing for almost a year when he comes and works out with me and he made it clear to the people every time we go there. So in the end they denied my buddy's from coming in so we went to the YMCA instead. The main point to this is for new people who are thinking about getting a membership DON'T these people are money grabbers who will force you into getting a membership and making BS policy's on the tops of there heads to make you sign up. My advice look around, because of this i am now not going to sign up for another year pass from them.

This place is pretty shitty! They call themselves exclusive with capped memberships. Its relatively small and the service is horrible. I went in there to ask for a tour, and the lady at the counter told me that everything was in front of me...very unprofessional. I ended up going to the Y as well.

I don't doubt that it is true...I actually worked there in sales for 8 days and since they tend to bring that Russian woman over from the ladies side to do both the owner came to me (via referral) and asked me to take over the NW side and we negotiated a commission package for me and after 8 days I sold al ot of memberships and brought in over 1100 in compensation...he said flat out I don't want to pay you this much when I can use (whatever her name is) for $40000 salary with NO commission. And with that I was gone.

They are ridiculous there with the exception of their trainers and massage staff...they are first rate and I know most of them care about the place but their hands are tied with the owner's lack of customer service.
