    Default dress shirts...help!

OK, i need some help here.
I have been trying to find a dress shirt (doesnt matter what color) just a plain dress shirt that can be worn under a blazer.

Only problem is, im pretty tall 5"11 and can never find one Long enough for me, plus im a girl so we got a pretty crappy selection of dress shirts.

Im sure there must be some skinny, tall guys on here that would know where to get nice dress shirt (snug) around town.

Will be attending a funeral tomorrow and refuse to wear a dress in this shitty weather.

    Thanks to all in advance.

What kind of birdhouse can you build with popsicles, roofies, and a rubber mallet?

Thanks so much for everyones input!
I was gonna do some shopping on the weekend and get a traditional black outfit for the funeral, but we were just notified that everyone should wear bright colors as thats how she would want us to remember her.

I will definatly check out mexx today.

    thanks again.

I was going to say Mexx too. Just make sure you try it on (you probably would anyway), because I've found their sizes tend to be fit a little small.

if you go to a mens shop that specializes in tuxes, they should have every combination of sizes available. And since it is grad/wedding season they should be stocked up.

i used to work at a formal wear shop when i was a student and i bet if you can get a 15" collar with a tall shirt you would be ok. the standard sizes like s-m-lrg is for of the rack stuff, if you go a store that does formal they will have all kinds of options as far as sleeve/neck and body sizes.

without knowing anything more than your hight i bet a 15" collar with a 33-35 sleeve in a slim would fit- post pics to see if im on target

    good luck on your hunt

If you check out tristan... they have a lot of dress shirts too, and if you dont like those, you can check tristan men, both of these are in market.

I just noticed for Mexx mens, the shirts arent too fitted, if ur a little skinny fuck like me lol.

Tristan men has fitted shirts, semi-fitted, and just regurlar fit and they also have neck sizes.

Hope this helps, Tristan men is right beside Mexx in market btw and thats where I get most of my stuff cuz no one really shops in there thats like under 20 so i usually dont see my shirt on like 500 other people.

or if you want something a little cheaper, H&M has decent fitted shirts for $25. I highly recommend Tristan though, they have nice dress shirts.

Guess it doesn't help you much since you've already been to the funeral but Mexx in Deerfoot has a pretty good sale right now...most of the shirts are $20-$35 + another 30% off on top...only problem is that a lot of the good stock is already gone. Definately worth checking out if you need some dress clothes though, esp if you're an XL.

Can we get a pic, so we know what body type to pick a shirt out for..? yes, even if you already got the shirt.

i'm 5'11" too, and slim ... seems that most shirts for people our height are made for people with huge ass guts..

    just get measured, i'm 15 1/2 - 16" and 34/35 sleeves...

Mexx actually fits well for ppl w/ our profile, but check winners for all sorts of dress shirts. i used to shop there all the time for stuff, hit the bay for sales and what not .. i'm cheap when it comes to buying in stores.

last shirts I got are from Maxwell - next shirts/suits I get i'm gonna go to thailand and get em done ...

    and some other things too

trick is, walk into any store where they measure you, find your size, try on shirts in that size and you'll be fine for clothes in the future.
