Canon HV30 (HD 1080i) (30p/24p)
Wide angle lens
UV / polarized filer
XLR mic
Super suction cup video mount (for in car videos)
Video tripod
Steadycam vest, arm.
Finalcut

Ready to go.

Im going to be working with TheVicaR
Producing rally, solo, cruise, ect videos
And shooting photos with my DSLR

Wondering if anyone wants to join?
Maybe get a team going where we can do multi camera shoots at events this summer.
Im sick of watching crappy race videos shot on cellphones in the dark.
I want to post High Def video, hosted on www.vimeo.com
Consolidate quality photos and videos of events in 1 place.
We should be shooting in 30p, if your camera does it.

Please brainstorm ideas!
- It would be nice to be official at events, so we can get prefered placement with out getting yelled at by track officials.

-Ive got a Epson 9880 Wide format printer, 44"
We can print posters when we get good pics of cars, for their owners or who ever.

-Ive been doing live video production for 7 years
I have some editing experience, but would like some help with special effects, livetype, graphics ect..

Remember if its super bright to bring your polarized filters and or ND filters.
Remember to bring OFF, I think mosquitoes are back in season.

If you want to help, bring all your gear, tripods, cams, filters, ect...
Ill post which events Im going to, and your welcome to join me.
First few will be more practice and organizational then anything.

If your interested in a steady cam or parts of it, like posted above, pm me, I import them. Very nicely priced.

We wont be shooting every event, I think the best idea is to pick knowing the weather, maybe once or twice a month, get everyone together?

Automotive journalism/trackday coverage would be a cool thing to get into.

I do photos, but very soon I am going to be picking up an HV30 w/ 35mm adapter so I can use all of my Nikon lenses on it... I've already discussed working with some people doing some really sick ideas.. I also have clamps, suction cups, etc.

I have a mac pro to do all the editing on as well =)
