However I don't want an AWD vehicle and since my company is paying for my truck I choose the Avalanche because I really like the vehicle. I've had them for the past 5 years.

You still haven't proved me wrong, the company is going to lease you a new avalanche? not buy a 58 grand vehicle so regardless that ebay link of a escalade does nothing. Not to mention 59 + gst + custom + border tax + papers + plane ticket + probably a grand of gas and all you'd be more in the ball park of 67-69 grand not? And i'm not even including food/hotel/miscellaneous items. I guess I could include time spent (not that I think you are worth that much)

I leased the last truck like a moron.
Plus driving an escalade up to an oil rig would get you laughed off the property.

Don't get me wrong i'd love to own one..... but for my job its simply not practical.
