    Is truly a man's game!! haha

    Was playing some Texas Holdem last night with the boyz and for the first time, I saw some facked up shit!!

    A Royal Flush Spade suit by CRXguy ..............
    4 of a Kind in 7's
    4 of a kind with the last Jack coming on the river (the brother holding his cards actually called that shit out)

    Open limit towards the end which pretty much knocked down CRXguy's empire of chips

    Any other playas out there?

    Oh yah, my King flush got beat out by someone's Ace flush, I mean what is up with that!?!?

    bad judgement on my part on that one had that nearly killed me!

    Poker is fun to play with friends (losing money to friends isnt so bad) but playing in the casino sucks!

    I watch Poker Million whenever it's on. It's pretty intense just watching on TV. Wonder what it's like playing in person there?

    I think it's their own money. Jimmy White and Stephen Davis are/were professional snooker players, so I'd imagine they still have a lot of money.

    I think how it works is, you buy in at a price, like $1000, and that would be equivelant to $100 000 or so in chips. That's how some of the smaller tournaments are played. It just makes it more interesting to see larger numbers.

    I know at the World Championships of Poker in Vegas each contestant's entry fee is $10,000. They keep playing until there is only one person left with everyone's money. They literally don't stop playing until all the cards have been dealt, which can take a couple of days...

    Anyway, I spend my afternoons watching Poker on TSN between 1-2pm while I am bussing tables

    That is where I learnt my game! But it didn't help at all cause I had shitty cards all night.

    Poker is a game of skill, even with bad cards, you can bluff your way to a win, although, the guys didn't seem like they'd back down from any amount last night - calling on $50 bets...crazy!!
