I heard that 95% of all Calgary's stabbings occur in or around the Cecil.. and by "heard" I mean "made up that statistic", because it sounds plausible.

I vote they demolish it, and turn the lot into a work camp for the bums...

as long as the drop in centre resides in that area, the shady crowd will always roll in there. have you driven through bridgeland recently? it is pitiful. i fucking feel sorry for the folks who live in that neighbourhood. ramsay, inglewood as well.

IMO, 100% of the blame falls on the owner of the hotel. he caters to that group and refuses to show his face. buy the POS out and demolish the building. same with "Beer Land"

agreed if those 2 buildings were gone, and something else in it's place the area would be less of an eye sore and less crime/drugs, but still with the drop in center there it will always have some trouble in the area
