    Default idle issues H22a

I hope this is simple so yall can soak the newbie but please help me out first.
My engine warms up normally, high idle then comes down to 750rpm, no problem then I drive it for a min or two and come to a stop and the idle goes up and down from 800-1300. up and down, up and down, up and down. Irritating eh? I know!
I thought maybe the EGR valve so I reconnected it and reset the ecu nope! I have bypassed my vafc, checked every ground (I think) no engine light nothing. Oh and there's a bit of surging at low rpms if that helps Vac leak, sensor issue?

Yep, or a vacuum leak. My Prelude was doing that and I found out I hooked a hose up wrong, letting air in. have a look at all the hoses!

yah, first thing I 'd check is the pcv valve and make sure that the line running from the valve cover to the intake manifold is unkinked and no leaks as well as check the valve itslef that it is working properly. Also, check for vaccum leaks by checking the lines running rom the intake manifold to everywhere!! haha, if there is a big enough leak you should be able to hear it hisssing.

first of all thanks guys for all your help!
I finally got underneath to check the last of the vac lines today and I can't find a leak anywhere!
The only other thing I can think of is that bypassing the coolant lines that run to and from the throttle body and the idle motor (in an effort to cool the intake) that has upset the ecu or the idle motor?!?
Has anyone else disconected those coolant lines?
