Command Start

My dad has a old school Command Start in his 94 Aerostar and the remote has been dead for quite some time.

Went around and talked to Future Shop, A&B, Soundsaround, and Visions and they all told him that Command Start went out of business so there's no way he can find a remote for it. The system itself is fine....just the remote is screwed...tried a new battery as well but no dice.

Wondering if anyone knows where my dad can find a Command Start remote or if anyone knows where he can get a programmable remote to work with his system?!

i had one of these systems in a car i purchased over a year ago and i searched high and low for a year and could not find ANYTHING... you'd be better off just getting one of the cheapie arctic or polar starts put in, they can be had for like under $150 installed if you find it at A&B at the right time.

Try ARA down in the SE on 36th Ave SE. They used to be huge Command Start supporters. When all the issues came up with Command Start a lot of dealers held back some parts for a rainy day such as this to support their customers.

Their number is.........287-3130 I would give them a call to see as it cant hurt!
