I really thought Danube closed down. Every time I am tried to go there they were closed. Recently I walked by there and I thought I saw a different eatery open up in its place.

Danube closed down as of a couple months ago I think but it was very good.

However, there is one other one that is really good and its in the plaza near Central high school in the SW. you can get to it when you are going north on crowchild, just north of glenmore.

Its called pfeuntastic pannokaken house or something of that nature. lol sorry I do not know the name / spelling.

^ I didn't find that place too great. On my birthday I went to de dutch pannekoek house in the deep south. Very good, i loved eating there when it was in the NE and it's just as good now.

Just curious, how does a place like Cora stand in the ratings for crepes? Cuz i love this new breakfast joint way more than denny's, nellies, and the other big chains.

What kind of birdhouse can you build with popsicles, roofies, and a rubber mallet?

You haven't had crepes till you have some home cooked French crepes All other crepes are just a paltry imitation. I make a mean crepe when I am so inclined. My advice to anyone trying to make crepes is to get a good quality crepe skillet and to try your hand at a good dozen before you serve them to anyone The trick is to pour the batter onto the skillet with one hand and to immediately start spreading it with a spoon held by the other hand. You want to shape it into as thin a circular shape as possible. Takes practice but eventually you will get the hang of it Alternatively some people swirl their skillets. However I am fond of the texture you get from using a spoon as this is more in line with the typical French way of cooking crepes.
