If it's what I'm looking at, it should be Mars, if I'm not mistaken. Doesn't look like it's moving to me though

they look closer than stars, alot brighter...
it is Mars, and from what I have heard we will not be able to see it again for like 240 years...thats like 8 generations before anyone will ever see it with the naked eye again!
I saw it so clearly last night, it was pretty amazing. Brightest thing in the sky, a little higher than the moon. I tried to get a pic of it but my dad lost my CF cards

No dude. You can see Mars all the time - it's just it's closer to the earth than it's been in a long time (was last month actually). The brightest star in the sky? That's Venus. You could probably see Mercury too except it's too close to the Sun.
