ohhh when spanish becomes aggressive
Yep regina. I do a few weddings there every year. I love the way these twin HSBC buildings look. There was another wedding party there at the same time and I overheard their photographer say, "their photographer has no idea what he is doing standing in the middle of the street".Originally posted by dr_jared88
Regina?
I got a really good laugh from that.
haha, yea they are Regina's really only towers but they do look pretty nice. And for not knowing what you were doing, the shot sure turned out awesome! hahaOriginally posted by quazimoto

Thanks! I know my clients and their friends/family loved it as well. I'm still not sure if the black/white with color is better than the full color version since the blue sky and clouds really reflect off the building really nicely.
I think it would be a damn nice spot to do some great car photos just the police are always circling around there. As it was they get all pissy when I tell my clients to stand in the middle of the road in oncoming traffic!!!! SHEESH! lol.
That twin building shot is awesome
Ala color. I had to use multiple shots for the people walking in the background.

The reflection is nice, but compared to the b&w one, I think this one is a bit distracting. Maybe have something in between?Originally posted by quazimoto

I'm trying to one right now with a quad tone black and white background where I'm kinda playing with the contrast a bit but burning a bit here and there. I also thought the full color was a bit much. To be quite honest it almost makes me dizzy when I look at the different angles on this building in this photo.
quazimoto: was that shot inspired by me? Pretty cool if it was
Shameless plug: I have 6 more seats left for my workshop on June 13 and 14th. If you wedding photographer feel stuck in a rut and want to get new ideas for business, workflow, technique and inspiration, I can definitely point you in the right direction. Check out this link for more info.
I haven't posted for a while and I apologize. There are 20 more photos of my latest couple on the blog: http://jtimages.ca/blog
