Default Want to surprise your girl with the best and EASIEST dessert ever?!

Found this recipe yesterday and just happened to have all of the ingredients at home and a couple of dinner guests on their way, so I popped it into the oven.

    WOW.

Easiest dessert EVAR! And it is so amazingly good (just ask D'zNutz and BerserkerCatSplat!) It takes about 5 minutes from start to oven, then bake it for 45 mins or so and voila! Smells amazing too when it's baking

    Peach Crumble Cake

This suggests peaches (which is what I used) but you can do it with any canned fruit...pears, fruit cocktail, pineapple, etc.

+1 from my sister too. I totally wasn't going to have too much dessert, but after the first bite I couldn't put it down

Would expired delmonte fruit cups work in lieu of actual canned fruit?

So by yellow cake mix they mean just a bag of that instant cake mix stuff?
Arguing over the internet is like cheering on the Oilers. Win or lose, you're still a dumbass.

Yep, a duncan hines box mix of golden yellow cake. Dump it on top of the fruit (just open the bag and pour) top with the butter squares (Tip: grocery stores sell sicks of butter, in the 1/2 cup measurement which makes it SUPER easy to do) then brown sugar and nuts, and voila!

Good luck masoncgy! Let me know how it goes!
