Still need to wait to see the thing before I make a decision. There have been like 500 renderings floating around the charger forums.
Its supposedly going to be alot more rounded though.
Hope they can pull off something nice!
Why do you keep spamming ontario street car?
Is it because it is your site and you live in Ontario?

Love it. Its got power, tons of room, and its really comfortable.
Plus I find its one of the nicer american cars for interiors.
I think they're going to destroy the aggressiveness of the car by taking the boxyness away on the new one. It'll probably end up looking like a dodge avenger
The original Charger concept
This looks like just a crappy rendering from any joe blow with a computer.
I wouldn't make any judgements until something comes from Chrysler. And even they make it look decent I hope they actually start putting some work into making the rest of the vehicle modern and not so cheap feeling.
I agree with the power, roominess and comfort, but I am bored to tears with the interior of my Magnum. The only time I like it, is at night with the indiglo gauges, and when the darkness hides the acres of grey plastic.Originally posted by Gabe182

I have a love / hate relationship with my car right now. It does everything well, except the interior fails to impress and it corners as you'd expect a big ass car would, which gets old pretty quick.
See I have an all black interior, everything except for the roof liner. Plus I got the mygig navi system so the interior is great for me.Originally posted by jonnycat

You know, Ive almost bought a charger r/t twice, both times I backed down. There was just something not quite right with the car, I almost felt like I was driving an taxi-cab with a hemi. I think the interior and poor handling had a lot to do with it. However, I guarantee Ill look into a 2011 if it looks like that green one. Any word of engine upgrades? The 5.7 is getting a little old and sluggish imho.
They make 400 HP. Some are rated at 370 and some are rated at 390..but they are all the same. Plus, it takes 400 ponies to run low 13's in a 4100 lb car, like the new ones do.Originally posted by jonnycat
It's been bumped to 370hp I beleive, not sure about torque.
The 2011 will be getting the new Pentastar V6's and they say the R/T will be a V6 twin turbo and have an 8-speed tip-tronic trans.
The SRT8 will be getting a VCT 6.4L HEMI with around 500-525 HP and better fuel economy than the current 6.1L.
Its going to get really good for Chrysler in 2011.
I'm not convinced that a muscle car should have a Twin turbo V6 engine or an 8 speed tranny.Originally posted by Malicious

Thats why the SRT8 will retain a V8. In this economic climate you can't rely on your volume sellers when they have V8's. Those cars nose dived big time after the gas crunch in 08, so much that they started selling 300C's with the 3.5L V6.Originally posted by Gabe182

Plus, when they put MultiAir on the engines, along with direct injection AND twin turbo's it'll be a BAD bitch and probably knock down damn near 35 MPG with the 8-speed...maybe better.
No offense but I really don't trust Chrysler or Fiat on reliable TT setup.
