8th Ave and 5th Street Sidewalk

So the sidewalk is closed...

And EVERYONE still crosses there...

I'm sick and tired of waiting to turn right on to 5th Street, only to get stuck in the intersection on a red light because of people crossing...

I frequently do that there, sorry . I guess all the pedestrians treat the intersection as still open, even if the sidewalk is closed. That section of 8th is a pain to drive on at the best of times though.

Sorry, I'm guilty for doing that as well, but I won't attempt to cross if there is a car there wanting to turn.

Thats what the horn is for. Tell 'em to get the fuck outta the way haha.

I usually roll down the window and explain what they're doing wrong after layin' on the horn for a few seconds, especially for pedestrians running across when they have a solid Don't Walk signal. I get the dirtiest looks.

I never was used to honking my horn. One day I got soo pissed off I actually used it, and cracked the Cadillac emblem on the steering wheel... Since then I kinda stopped using the horn considering I feel it's almost pointless Most people don't know what they are doing wrong, and think your the crazy one

That's why you roll down the window and explain to them what they're doing wrong. I usually get a finger or 2 after explaining, regardless of how polite I am lol.

"Hey Guy. When it says don't walk, it means you don't walk. Get it?"

Another thing that helps is side mirrors that stick out a foot and a half! haha joking ofcourse
