I am looking for a scooter, since I really don't see a need to drive my car all over the place (live inner city).
No moto license here, so I need to legally be able to drive whatever you're selling me.
Cheers

legally you cant ride anything anymore without a class 6 with you. it used to be 49cc that you can, but now they dont do that....i think i read that somewhere here last year....
As logn as it's 49cc and under, and under the given weight below, I think I'm alright.
Glad you raised the point of it though, I forgot all about it.
taken from http://www.servicealberta.gov.ab.ca/...lass_5_Licence
Class 5 Licence
Permits an operator to drive:
* A two axle single motor vehicle, excluding a motorcycle
* A two axle motor vehicle towing a trailer with one or more axles, if the trailer is not equipped with airbrakes
* A recreational vehicle or any combination of a recreational vehicle and a trailer, if the trailer has not more than two axles and is not equipped with airbrakes
* A moped
...
but also have read: http://transportation.alberta.ca/1026.htm
"(v) weighs more than 35 kilograms but less than 55 kilograms, but does not include a bicycle or power bicycle.
Note: Some vehicles may appear to be mopeds. However, if they exceed the weight of 55 kg or the speed of 50 km/h, they do not fall into the moped classification and are, instead, considered motorcycles."
