I have basically the junkyard version of that… tried selling it, but kijijiThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Let me know if you want a project
I had a old 550 I regret selling but I had too. Any info? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
How much? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
My 500 needs a valve cover gasket. Don't feel like doing it this year. WOuldn't mind rebuilding an engine for a project.
Mine needs some sort of gasket too… I have the gasket kit as well. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
$1000 seems fair, paid close to that for it in even worse shape back when they were less rare:
It's a 500 or 550?
I want the motor and will turn this shell into an electric motorcycle. After hunting season i'll be in touch.
Sweet. That's what mine is.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I was finally able to get past the ice behind my garage for a short ride yesterday. Felt good to get out on a bike again. Going out again today, if the weather co-operates.
I think it's supposed to be somewhere near "hot" today, so you should be good!
A grom you say????This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I sold the ruckus a few years ago, but just could not bring myself to sell the grom. Its a different kind of fun compared even to the R6.
I could never bring myself to invest into the grom. I bought a 2014 off the show room floor when they were brand new, loved it, but no one else rode one, so I was always the slow guy (and would therefore swap to my CBR instead). I couldn't bring myself to spend 3k+ modding a 3k bike.

Where back in 2005 we were all putting $3000 engine swaps, suspensions, rims, etc. on our $3000 civics.
Is it wrong to buy one of these for a 10 year old? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I say stupid shit all the time.
It's hilarious when you put it like that. If the Grom was my one and only bike, it'd be easy, but when it's cheaper to mod my more expensive/faster bike, why wouldn't I do that instead? I always _wanted_ to mod the grom. There's some super cool groms out there, and maybe now that they're more popular, and I don't use my bike to commute to work anymore, I should look at it again. I was the only person I knew of in Calgary with a Grom at the time. I mean, there was other Grom's in town, but I didn't know any of them. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member.
