Although Acosta is widely known as being a trance DJ, he also plays progressive, techno, break-beat, electro, and other styles of electronic dance music. As a dance music producer, Acosta is among the most skilled. Technically savvy and meticulous in the recording studio, Acosta is no stranger to music production’s ever-evolving technology.
In 1996, Acosta had a Platinum-selling record as part of Planet Soul with the single, “Set U Free,” which sold over 1.2 million copies, a number virtually undeard of in today’s climate. A decade after “Set U Free” went Platinum, Acosta performs as a DJ to packed dance floors in some of the biggest clubs and festivals around the world, including: Berlin’s Love Parade, Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, Bang! Music Festival and Global Gathering Festival, as well as Denver’s Red Rocks.
A world Class DJ/Producer and Grammy Award Nominated artist. #1 Voted DJ for the Americas in 2007. Was ranked in DJ Mag’s Annual Top 100 at 59. Chart top producer landing at Billboard Mag's top 20. Featured on a various number of compilations including “In Search Of Sunrise 8.”

Cerf first made his mark in dance music as one-fourth of the group Second Sun. In 2001 his track, Empire, caught the attention of mega DJ/Producer Paul van Dyk and was immediately signed to Vandit Records landing the group instant notoriety and a spot on Quebec’s own Music Plus.
In 2004, he met DJ/Producer partner Shawn Mitiska and the two started remixing tracks for other producers, including Serge Devant, Eelke Kleijn, and Lange. In 2005 Matt met singer/songwriter Jaren and the two joined forces with Shawn to create masterful originals like: “Light The Skies”, “Saved Again”, “Me & You”, “Down To You”, and “Let Me Breathe”.
For those of you who remember, Matt threw it down to a full house at The Whiskey last March along side his wife Jaren performing live vocals. After much demand for his return the French-Canadian DJ/Producer is back!
