88crx PLEASE re-read my post. Again as some people aren't understanding, I did NOT say that the red mile was on any level near the violence/destruction that occurred in van. But simply pointed out Calgary is full of its own sports related douche baggery and if a group bent on rioting were to have been present during the red mile, similar mob mentality would have just as easily ensued.

In fact there are some calgarians so stupid they even protested the calgary police's zero tolerance stance on douchebaggery that likely helped to prevent any serious problems from occurring:

Please warnings and rioting are two different things.

the red mile was extremely mild compared to the riots of Vancouver in 2011 or 1994. A very stupid parallel to draw upon.
