experience w/ Creative Nomad Zen?

Anyone have any experience with the Creative Labs Nomad Zen Xtra 30gb model? or any of the Nomad Zen models in general?

likes/dislikes?

I'm thinking of getting an mp3 player to pass the time while traveling on the dumb train to school and an iPod is not worth it.

I have the 20gb Zen and I think it's a decent player. My issue with it is that it's also pretty damn big, and I really have no use for 20gb. I don't have anywhere near that many MP3's and if I did navigating through them would be a bitch. I find it hard enough to go through the1 gb I have now.

In terms of size, I recommend going for the 10gb ipod, it's definitely smaller compared to the Zen and roughly the same price (as the 20gb Zen).

But in terms of features and everything, I can't reallly tell you. Though I can say that navigating through songs using the jog dial on the Zen can be helpful but it can also be pretty annoying too.

i have a zen and I love it, its great, but ya, I'm thinking of getting an apple ipod 10 gb because of the size and i'm only using 4 gbs of the 20 gbs! so if you want one I might have one for sale soon!

I don't know what I would do with 20gbs... let alone the 30GB Zen Xtra...
but the iPod is ridiculously expensive for what it's worth AND that stupid battery issue.
unless they've fixed it in the 10 gb one...
