    Default Pigeon Predator Question

Just looked out my window this morning to see the remnants of a pigeon strewn all over the peak of a low roof. There's just a bunch of feathers, wing parts, and some pigeon feet, kind of gross. I'm wonder how the hell to clean it off, I don't need pigeon parts falling on me, lol.

Anyone know what kind of animal does that? Is it most likely a bird of prey or a land creature?

not too cold to spray it off with the hose after rubber gloves and a bag, i suspect a cat, cause i've seen my gf's cat do just that to a magpie - ate the innards then he brought in the head and put it in her shoe.

deal with it the same way as a mouse.
gloves mask little bit of bleach in a spray bottle and pick/wipe it up. no sweeping or vacuuming.

my favorite camp site has a couple insane cats. they're bring gifts and leave them on the pool deck a couple times a week. gifts being gophers, skunks and a porcupine once. who knows where they killed it but it must have taken them hours to drag the corpse to the pool. crazy

    Yup.

Got one take apart by magpie live on my front lawn. Never heard a scream like that ever.

Had to pick up the rib cage after the magpie(s) was done. The only good think was the magpie picked it pretty clean so it wasn't much of a mess.

Falcons also eat pigeons. There is a family of Falcons that live on the roof of the Hyatt hotel. I've been up there and seen pigeon carcasses all over. I've even seen a falcon divebomb down on a pigeons back about 20 feet off the ground, pretty cool to see.
