Bought myself a bunch of stuff leading up to christmas

Lego Star Wars y-wing, republic frigate
Copy of star wars the old republic to try out
A new 30 gallon bow front aquarium and some random fish to let the lobster( crayfish) kill.
Started a diecast airplane collection. Bf 109 and hawker typhoon.
Levelling Kit for my new truck.
Logitech g35 headset and steelseries merc keyboard
3 cases of Yukon Gold beer, taste of back home.
Steam cleaner for house and truck
metric shit ton of stuff for the dog

I cant list the tomorrows giving things or else risk this being the one time my best friend actually reads beyond.

Well I got the usual:
-Socks
-Cologne
-Candy
-Enough body wash, hair gel, and deoderant to last me till next Christmas.
-$200

We keep er pretty simple with my father at Christmas. Tomorrow I head to my Mom's......... The lady takes this shit damn serious so it should be a bigger list tomorrow.

What I gave was:
-Engraved pocket watch for my Dad
-Kobo for my Mom
-$100 spa card for my Dad's GF
-Humidor for my Step Dad
-3D movie for my brother (me and him have a ~$20 spending cap lol)

So my mom even mentioned she didn't get me a present, but she gave me an envelope with $500 in it.

Told her to take that $500 and spend it on a trip on herself 2 Poland....

Since we open our presents on christmas eve (wigilia) I got to open mine already.

I ended up with:
Laptop case
My wedding band (since I'm a cheap person)
Gaiters
XC skiing mitts
Diesel shirt
towels and a scale (together gift for me and my fiance)

Tomorrow I am off to my fiance's parents so even more gifts!

I like getting gifts, I just don't like buying them!

Thus far I got 2 tickets to see Deadmau5 when he comes to Saskatoon the 28th, a lululemon sweater (out of spite), and a Saskatchewan Rough Rider cribbage board. Heading off to my families in Medicine Hat tomorrow to see the rest.

Funny Story:
The girlfriend's parents thought each of them were being tricky by buying a gift for the other and stashing them at our place then playing dumb come Christmas morning. Her mom got her dad a PS3 and hid it on him so he thought all he got was a hoodie, and her dad bough her mom a ring and hid it inside a tea pot. It was funny because they were both snickering to us about how they tricked their spouse not knowing they got fooled too. It was really refreshing to be a part of a family like that. Merry Christmas everyone!

My best gift this year was being around my family for Christmas, since moving to Kelowna, it's been hard to get everyone in one place.. so my house was the first time in 2 years that I've had my family for Christmas.

Sometimes the best gifts don't have to be material.

However, in keeping with the thread this is what I got:

Avenger Magnesium Plates for my skates, and gumball toe stoppers - a gift for myself on a wicked roller derby season

- Porter and Cable Random orbit polisher
- Various pads for said polisher
- Cerium compund and polishing compound
- The art of detailling book and dvd
