Man you should really "know your role" before you start running your mouth, and stop to learn who you really are talking to.

Anyways, get a honda or something. It should be cheap, and reliable. Save your allowance for insurance lol its going to be 4x them amount you have to spend on your car. I'm assuming your 16.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

M: 1BadPT gave you the best advice.

Save your money b/c you are only going to be jacked more with car repair bills and the like. For a grand you'll probably get a gas guzzler that spews out nasty exhaust that will only piss off the guy in the convertible behind you.

In the end, you'll have spent way more on a car you'll hate from day one. Hope this helps! hehe

as everybody else has mentioned, save up about another 500-1000 (wont be hard man, even if you work part time, just cut down on some shit... it will only take you about 3 months or so to save up for)

go with a late 80's honda civic or accord... you'll probably find a better deal on accord since so many people think their civic is SO FAST (no i dont think all honda owners are cocky, but there are some out ther) just dont be fooled by shitty deals. like somebody wanting 6 grand for a 89 civic... believe me that shits out there.

so yea if you find a good car on canadatrader.com just post it here and we'll give ya thoughts

Yo man... I was in the same boat like... 1/2 a year ago.

I wanted to buy a vehicle SOOOO bad and had only saved up 1200$... So i rushed out and bought the first thing I could find... A POS 1985 Chevy S10. The thing had like 375000 KM and had a few major problems, like it needed a new clutch and re-wiring of the whole car. Anyways... I bought it, found out how much the repair bills would be, and was lucky enought to sell it for what I paid for it.

I sold it, the got a job. I worked for about 3 months and saved up a few grand (WITHIN ONLY 3 MONTHS! but thats working 5 days a week and not spending ANYTHING) anyways.. I saved and saved and then bought my car, a 1987 Turbo2 RX7, which in my eyes, is a very nice car and great for modding. It also has great resale value.

Anyways, now I am very happy with my car and I suggest you save a little more like I did, it worked out in the end for me and I hope it will the same for you.

If you can somehow wait for a few months your options are endless. 5 grand seems like a lot of money to earn but you could get a serious car for 5 grand.
