Levelling is fine if you don't use your truck for truck stuff (towing, hauling etc.)

Welp, I suppose I should start paying more attention to this group. I picked up a 2014 FX-4 on December 30th. I never thought I'd willing buy a v6 truck but this thing is fun!

How did you get the red leather? Is there an option for the FX4 to have red leather?Originally posted by ShermanEF9

Looks like the King Ranch badge and leather.

that is a nice truck
I still think the nicest is longhorn... but King Ranch, Limited, Platnium, Denali, High Country are so nice.
To be honest, after driving a few F150's... I'd love to have had a Harley edition
my only issue with the harley, is the 5.4.
You can order it with a 6.2 platformOriginally posted by ShermanEF9

Learn something new everyday haha
I think 2010 was the last year for the 5.4, no matter what trim level you got. Everything 2011-2014 was the 3.5, 5.0 or 6.2.

What would be a reasonable amount to pay for a 2015 F150 as a cash purchase? Looking at the Lariat, 4x4, supercrew, FX4, and the "black'd out" appearence package.
you are probably going to be around $50-55k after rebates and shit

Thanks, I was looking to keep it $50k or below so might be waiting for some incentives to come on-line.
from towing a bit... I have to say the 3.5 is badass and quietOriginally posted by RickDaTuner

however, from an engine braking perspective, I tried a 6.2 f250 in tow haul with quite a bit of payload and I was really impressive.
I'm sure the 6.2 in the F150 would be also as impressive
I was just doing a quick build price, and without the black out whatever, they were listing it at about $54k.Originally posted by Chandler_Racing

you may be able to get a dealer to get that under $50k. having the costco membership can help with that too. it is doable, esp if they have it on the lot already, but you will probably have to work a lot harder for it being a 2015.

that being said, do you guys find the styling to look like a mix of the old F150 and a Tundra?
I'm finding the Silverado's to be the most attractive half ton right now.
