Just boobs. That's how we party.
That must be tough for Lee, just had twins. Now hes shipped off to Pittsburgh away from his family. Part of the biz but still.
Yea poor guy. He'll just have to wipe his tears with his $2.7m paycheck for this season lol.Originally posted by ZEDGE

His wife and twins are in Boston with her family.
PA to MA is like 500m, much better then the Calgary to Boston flights he has been making.

That was a hell of a game, wish Ortio had a shutout though.
Last night was the first NHL game that I've ever gone to, and I was actually really surprised with how good of a game it was. I really hope that those players are ok though... (the one that got boarded pre- line brawl and #8...)
Indeed. So close.Originally posted by Hakkola

Looks like Colborne was ok after the game, not sure about Wideman and Hudler though.
Retro night tonight

I liked the comeback, especially when down by 2 heading into the 3rd. Thought Ortio looked out of position on the 1st NYI goal though.
Solid comeback by the boys last night, they sure know how to keep it interesting (i read something saying that 40+ games this year were decided by 1 goal) It was great to see a comeback as well, doesn't happen all that often.
I don't know about you guys but I really like some of the young guys on this team, it was great to see 8 rookies out there last night. They all played hard as well. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come in the future. I look at these guys as being a real 'lunch pail/hard hat" kind of team, show up, work hard, block shots, go to the ugly areas, have some fun out there. Its good to watch!

Great game. Second period was bad but they didnt quit and had an awesome third. The future looks bright for alot of these young guys.Originally posted by xnvy

I got a free pair of lower bowl tickets to last nights game, freaking wicked. That was a brutal give away in the neutral zone that set up the third NYI goal. Saw it coming all the way across the ice, I just thought "Give away like that? we're gonna get burned...". Great come back in the third though.
War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength.
Tonight should be a fun one. Vancouver vs Calgary, first rematch since the brawl.
Vancouver's record since the brawl: 4-11-1
Calgary's record since the brawl: 9-5-1
Joni Ortio gets the start tonight. Eddie Lack expected to start for the 'nucks
Was at the game last night as well...awesome!
Dome was pretty rocking last night, ie. "go flames go" chants in the third.
And was cool how they played "Don't Stop Believing"...and came back for the 4-3 win!
