Two months since the release, how is the MSRP going for these days?
Just been reading the CivicX forums and people were paying as much as 10K USD over MSRP back in June.

I don't think Canada has got their 2nd allotment yet. There have been delays in shipments as Honda is replacing the engine harnesses on cars that were previously ready to ship because of the CEL condition that's affecting numerous owners of the launch cars. As far as pricing I heard in Edmonton dealers were charging ADM but don't know if that's true. Not sure about Calgary as I haven't called a dealer yet. Not interested in these launch cars that seem to have a fair bit of issues atm. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There is a white Type R on autotrader, it's at a Red Deer dealer and it's listed at $43,xxx. Not sure if there is any mark up on top of that or what have you. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Saw one advertised on kijiji in Calgary at a non Honda dealer for $55k+taxes not long ago.
LOL what a joke. I will be so disappointed if someone buys that. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
When you have a CTR in the garage, you need a Miimo Type R in the shed

I doubt he gets $59k but if a rich Chinese kid really wants one I imagine his parents will be willing to overpay seeing it's in Vancouver. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Probably close to 1,000 kilometers on the odometer right now. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
A rich Chinese kid would not settle for a Honda though, for 60K there's alternatives like the Audi S3 and 10K more you can get a BMW M2.
Could be a Honda fanboy. I have seen plenty of Americans gladly pay $10k ADM in the US and not care about the money. I highly doubt the seller gets close to $59k but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets over MSRP. Lots of idiots out there with money. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. There was a picture of the CTR beside an S2000. These things are massive. Has the Civic gone to the same size as an Accord Crosstour?
Barely shorter in length and height, but almost? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
05 also for giggles, it's not all that bigger, just wider

They aren't even close to that big, but they are noticeably grown up compared to the previous Civics and probably the same size as older Accords. They very much have the driving characteristics of a regular sized sedan now rather than an economy/compact car. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Civic hatch is almost a foot longer than a VW Golf. Yet it has less cargo capacity.
Also, Golf SportWagen is 1.7 inches longer than a Civic hatch and has 50% more cargo room. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
