Default Device to make a wired internet connection to wireless?

Just wondering if there is a device (like USB) that I can plug into my tower to convert it into a wireless connection for Internet.

Currently it needs an ethernet cable to go from the tower to router/modem.

The location for this computer isn't going to be anywhere near where my modem is being placed in my new place.

If you have a wireles router, you can add this to your tower

Assuming you currently have a wireless router...

Use USB as your "Search Within" and you should be golden.

As said, a usb network adapter is great, I had gone for an extended stay with my SO in Banff while she was there for work, brought my entire tower along to the hotel , just had a cheap $15 Cisco Valet AM10 Wireless N network adapter and it worked great for gaming.

Maybe you'd want higher-end one if you plan to do gaming or heavy streaming.

If you want there's also the PowerLine adapters?

    Essentially, the connection looks like:

Tower -> Ethernet cable-> Powerline Adapter -> power cables in your house -> receiving Powerline adapter -> ethernet cable -> modem

    i.e. these:
