I don't really cheer for anyone so I'm just going to wait and see, and then bandwagon this year.
Cheering for:
Brazil (been a fan since childhood)
Argentine (wanna see old rivalry between them and Brazil)
England (always fun to watch how they screw up)
Germany (good style, tactical play style)
Against: All the teams that are full of themselves
Netherlands
Portugal
Italy
With Poland out, I usually cheer for Spain, Germany, or Argentina. Don't really care though as long as we have some good matches.
Any idea if CBC will be streaming the games live? Or perhaps another source?

"Our website cbc.ca/fifaworldcup has match schedules, news and videos. It's where you'll find streaming of all FIFA World Cup matches online."
Been cheering for Germany/Japan/Korea since I was a kid. I don't see any reason to jump off the wagon now. It would be nice to see a star sewn onto their jersey....
Hate:
every other soccer nations that prevents the above mentioned team from getting a world cup.

Thats how I feel. last world cup I did not mind Germany but because the beat Argentina, there is no way I am cheering for them this time around. I must admit though, Germany has a pretty solid team.Originally posted by KLCC

Crap. I'll just cheer for the Rio girls to go topless.Originally posted by n1zm0
They didn't make it this year neither did China. DPRK is always a great one though, because you know if they did qualify, you'd see the KCNA report they won the World Cup again
I'm going for ROK and JPN this year.
I'd love to see Argentina get to the finals, it would cause Brazil to go nuts as a nation. Also if Joseph "Sepp" Blatter dropped dead of a heart attack at some point in the tourney I'd be even happier. Toss in a Brazilian tranny in his hotel room and well, I'm all out of dreams for the WC2014.
Looking for an underdog in the final four, otherwise it'll be the usual suspects... BZL, Germs, Arggies and Holland...
If you can catch a live feed of the stadium during warm ups, it is the best, amazing what some of these players can do with a ball. It's almost as entertaining as the matches.
I'll watch every match as usual, if I can stay away from people mentioning who won. Need to schedule out my tourney life for the most live matches possible. Once again I will be walking around with earplugs on and hoping no one gives away the scores.

One of my biggest hopes is Italy and France out round 1. Boring to watch and man do the Italians dive. They make Ronaldo look good.Originally posted by BigShow

Germans are great to watch. Agreed with Argentina, that'd be incredible for them to be in the final. I enjoy watching the Dutch too.
Brazil, Italy and Spain are teams with a lot of finesse and diving skills. Fun and infuriating to watch.

Germans look strong, but i think Brazil will take it.

The England team visited an orphanage in Brazil today. “It’s heartbreaking to see their sad little faces with no hope” said Jose, age 6.
