When's everyone planning on switching? I was thinking another weekend or two away.

Getting my Hakka's put on this coming weekend...had her out last night and she was definitely not happy with the tires she had on(Dunlop Sport Maxx).Originally posted by relyt92

For the DD: going to wait as long as I can, I have my Hakkas mounted on steelies so I can swap when the snow flies.

Anyone have any idea whether or not I can just go to Costco or some car guy to get some winters for my 428i?
Was originally thinking of keeping the all seasons on for the winter but figured if I could get winters for a decent price I would do it. But the Dunlop ones from bmw cost so much.
Do not go to Costco, its a gong show there and those kids are overworked and don't spend enough time balancing the tires right.

Got my BF Goodrich AT K02 installed and picked up yesterday. Can tell they are heavier and they do make a bit of a thrum at low speeds but other than that I can hardly tell a difference.
^ wait a minute I was your service adviser haha.
Really? Man, that's nice to know a Beyonder is looking after my truck when it's there. That's why the service experience has been so good.Originally posted by Twin_Cam_Turbo

Glad to hear. I hope your wind noise is taken care of, but if not let me know.Originally posted by SkiBum5.0

I haven't even decided on what winter tires I want for my truck yet or even a size
I want to push it to Halloween, but tomorrow is my only day off between then and now and can't decide if I should risk pushing it back.Originally posted by diamondedge
I swapped back. Couldn't take it anymore. Waaay to warm still.
Halloween or bust.
Think I'll do my girlfriends' tomorrow and mine at halloween
My 19" Nokian Hakkapoliitta 8 studded are in @ KalTire, and are being mounted on a set of custom Volk Red Volk Progressive ME's... should all be mounted up to the RCF this week
White letter BF Goodrich T/A's - I see that retro 70/80's trend is maybe coming back?Originally posted by SkiBum5.0

OWL's coming back big time! I wouldn't have bought these if they didn't come with them.
Size is 275/65/18.
Looks like a good fit. Any rubbing? I have the same truck, stock size is 265 65 18. I assume you bumped yours up a size as well.
No rubbing at all. Yes bumped it up one size. Gained 0.8" of ride height
Been using the Hankook i-Pike W409 for the past decade almost. It's difficult to switch once you are accustomed to a certain tire. Just realized the W409 was discontinued and the W419 is the improved version so I'm a bit excited to see/feel the differences.
I opt for non studded because there are a lot of dry days with the Chinook.

I'm not sure which model they were, but I've driven ipikes on a couple different cars and have always been super disappointed compared to my Blizzaks. They could have been the cheaper models though.Originally posted by max_boost
