Off topic but apparently the definition of what a Quonset is has changed from what I know them to be.
Will fuck off, again.
So what happens if your car was stolen and you already got your insurance company settlement....and then the car is found and returned?
"A complete list of the makes and models of the stolen cars, trucks and SUVs has not been released."
That's all I wanted to read in this thread
Curious to why they searched the property in the first place. Interesting find.
1994 Mustang - SBF swap in progress
Has anyone watched that episode of underworld inc. on stolen car? I'm curious see the list as well
Haha - yep, I lived in a ww2 quonset for 3 summers, it was much smaller and much shitter than that, for sure.Originally posted by speedog

Agreed. Most of what I see in that picture looks rather pedestrian.Originally posted by Tik-Tok

I've always associated Quonset with a modern, oversized metal "barn"?Originally posted by speedog

Quonset is supposed to be a 1/2 round shelter...
Pole barn supposed to be a wooden barn like structure...
This looks like a prefab metal building
^ it is... that's a prefab shed.

In typical media fashion, they over reported the actual "guns" seized in this "operation".Also this was found recently: More Than 200 Weapons Seized From Northeast Home
They found exactly 4 sawed off shotguns. The rest were paintball guns, and the remaining "weapons" weren't firearms at all, but a mixture of cheap knock off swords, throwing stars, and similar junk.
"Operation". That's a good one. Takes a hell of an operation to bust some small time weed and cocaine dealer that happens to play a lot of paintball, and who took a hacksaw to 4 crappy old shotguns. Real kingpin they got there, could be the inspiration of Breaking Bad part 2.
Regarding the cars - that is a pretty snazzy Quonset, considering how regular the cars looked, I'd bet the building is worth as much as the stolen cars inside it. A couple of BMWs, but not much else, and whoever stole those Bimmers did the owners a favor in the first place, haha. I do wonder what they planned on doing with all the hot cars, not like some rich Shiek would buy that crap in bulk, and there sure didn't look like anything rare or collectible was in the building. Is there that much demand for stolen parts and what not? Just seems like a big risk for little reward - another mastermind criminal like the "200 guns" guy maybe.
Fuckin A. Why raid people who have shitty shotguns that fire that have a short barrel. Or shitty knock off throwing stars and swords. They happen to have some drugs which means they have zero bad connections in life and will never use these weapons for protection, or enforcement.Originally posted by Gman.45
